Concerned about your child's development? Our practice specializes in utilizing evidence-based assessments to assess for autism, ADHD, or other developmental concerns. We offer comprehensive diagnostic evaluations (either in our clinic or in your home) as well as telehealth evaluations. Our assessments are neuro-affirming, strength-based, and are designed to help you identify new ways to support your child and help them thrive. These services are described in detail below:

Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluations:

Comprehensive diagnostic evaluations may include a detailed clinical interview with the child’s caregiver, a semi-structured play observation (ADOS-2), parent rating scales (e.g., CARS-2, MCHAT, SCQ), developmental or cognitive testing (e.g., Mullen, DAS-II), and measures of adaptive functioning (ABAS-3). These visits often take place at our clinic location in Buckhead. We also offer in-home evaluations for families within a 10-mile radius of our clinic. This can be particularly helpful for children with autism or developmental delays who may feel overwhelmed or dysregulated in a clinic setting.

Virtual Developmental Evaluations:

Our team specializes in offering comprehensive evaluations over telehealth. These services are available throughout Georgia as well as PSYPACT states across the country. Virtual evaluations consist of a detailed clinical interview with the child’s caregiver, a semi-structured parent-child play observation (TELE-ASD-PEDS), parent rating scales (e.g., CARS-2, MCHAT, SCQ), and a developmental parent interview (DP-4).

Classroom Observation for a Psychological Evaluation

Does your child have an existing diagnosis, but needs an updated evaluation in order to access services?

We offer abbreviated telehealth reevaluations to promote services access for children with neurodevelopmental disorders.

Reevaluations generally consist of a clinical interview with the child’s caregiver, brief observation of the child, parent rating scales (CARS, MCHAT, SCQ), and a developmental parent interview (DP-4).

Parent Reading With Child Using Parent Coaching Strategies

We specialize in using evidence-based naturalistic developmental behavioral interventions (NDBIs) to empower parents to support their child’s social communication development. NDBI’s are intended for children with social communication delays and use a blend of developmental and behavioral strategies. Dr. Greenfield is trained in Pivotal Response Treatment and certified in Project ImPACT, which are both NDBI approaches.

We also offer consultations for parents to help children learn new coping skills to regulate their emotions and decrease tantrums or behaviors like hitting and biting.
